Up for sale is an authentic 29" x 25" reproduction of the original watercolor painting of "ON THE WARPATH!" featuring Jeff Gordon by Sam Bass. Jeff Gordon was just another talented racer on his way up in 1995 when Sam Bass depicted the driver and his "Rainbow Warrior" crew in "On The Warpath!" Although it was still anybody's season to take when this painting was released, by the end of the year Gordon's seven victories earned him his first of four NASCAR Winston Cup championships. The Original edition size, created May 1, 1995, was 1000 and the issue price was $175. Currently, the remaining prints are for sale on the Sam Bass website for $250 without the Gordon Autograph. This one is #559 of 1000 and comes with the COA.AND IS SIGNED BY JEFF GORDON It is, of course, signed and numbered by the artist. This print has not been unrolled or been exposed to light heat or moisture since the day it left the Sam Bass Studio. It was rolled, wrapped in plastic and placed in a heavy duty cardboard tube. After you purchase this item please take extra careful effort to unroll it as it is on poster board stock paper and is stiff. Hurried attempts to unroll it could result in creasing.
