Up for sale is an authentic checkered flag autographed by 5 Indy Race car drivers. Here is the deal. 9 years ago I helped liquidate a company that sold sports memorabilia from every sport. Several years ago I started selling off my private collection that I saved for myself from this deal. I sold Aiken jerseys, Jordan jerseys, Favre jerseys, Mays baseballs, Pictures, over 300 autographed items. I had sold several of these and I put the rest away in a box and forgot about them. I found them recently and i am putting them back up for sale. I have several of these and the story behind these is they did not pass the QC standards of the catalog house. Maybe a smudge or errant pen mark. But when these were selling for $300 each they had to be perfect. These were in the not perfect pile. So I have them for sale now at a greatly reduced price. The one you get may not even look like there is anything wrong. I cannot tell on the majority of them. I do know who all of the autographs are. I recognize Rahal, both Andretti's, Danny Sullivan and Al Unser Jr. There also is no COA with these flags since they were not included in the numbered series the catalog published. But, like i said, I have sold over 300 autographed items and I will guarantee 300% these are all original, authentic autographs. This will make a GREAT framed piece. Your price for this amazing piece of Indy history is not the $300 original catalog price but only $79.00. That's 5 racing legends autographs on a checkered flag for less than $15 per autograph not including the cost of the flag.
